The Vibrant Sun

The central gravitational field of consciousness is the Sun.  Just as the Sun in the solar system defines the center, holding everything together, the Sun in the chart acts a s the center of being, holding the parts of consciousness together.  The Sun is your urge to shine, to live, and to express creativity.  The Sun governs your life force flow by its sign, house, and aspects to other planets.  Without Sunlight we would have no vision or life.  The Sun symbolizes the creative vision that generates vitality in your life.  It is the diplomatic center of consciousness, representing your core identity.  Who are you at the core of being?  Contemplate the astrological Sun.  When a person grows inflexible and acts selfish, prideful, and domineering the Sun becomes the tyrant of the chart.  The quest of the heroic Sun involves the discovery of who you are and what you were born to create.  A dark Sun’s craving for power loses sight of the spiritual adventure of life.  A Sun sign gone bad leads to a life governed solely by egotistical desire.  In the East they teach that this kind of living leads to suffering.  When the dark Sun flares up its deadly rays scorch all the planets in your chart.   The sign it occupies reverts to its shadow expression.
